    There is no such thing as an assault weapon, and there doesn't seem to be any sort of actuarial basis for the underwriting scheme you're envision.

    Liability insurance is a great idea in general if it's affordable, but it doesn't really have any bearing on the prevention of willful acts of violence.

      It's about making those that push for more and more guns having something to lose when someone is careless or goes on a rampage, and making them help pay for the costs to society and the victims.

      Women create the entire labor force.

        So you're argument is to get gun owners to arbitrarily take responsibility for some mad man's actions?
