I don't even know where my local Democratic campaign office is located ...  is there something more productive that we could get involved in? What should I do?
... put in your own zipcode at the Obama for America site and see what comes up!  Sign up for a volunteer shift and see what happens!   I'm doing voter registration, and I love it because I don't even have to make a partisan pitch.  Or if you want work you can do from your own home, there's phone-banking tasks that can address any race in the country.

Now I feel dumb, but to be fair it takes a few clicks to find the area on the official Obama site to locate events. Here's the URLs that I found for anyone who is looking for where to get started:

The Obama events search page: Click

To find your state's Democratic party: Click

Was there a diary published about how to get involved, where to look for events/your local party? It might be worth having something like that available so that people like me aren't lost and looking for spots to pitch in.
