to participate somehow, albeit limitedly. I know--how about I be a reader!?

Seriously, I'm better at lurking, commenting, tipping my hat at times, and sneaking in for a quick chat between putting out fires at work. Without adequate time (not to mention skills), I can't offer my help with the specific jobs above. But count me in as reader, supporter, word-spreader, meet-upper, etc.

Let me also add that I think this is an ASWESOME idea. I find myself reacting to local events and having no one to share those reactions with (e.g. today's headlines about redeveloping the Brooklyn waterfront seemed like a huge and complicated political topic, and I want to learn what others around me think...).

Anyway I plan to come to the May 26 live-and-in-person event and definitely want to hear more about all this.

Culture of life? More like Republican cesspool of violence.
