to have a real slug-fest with mr. Romney. Today, while meeting mr. Miliband (the coalition-partner in mr. Cameron's Governement), he probably didn't even know who or what he was talking to:

Governor Romney never used Mr Miliband’s name – calling him simply “Mr Leader”. He politely allowed Mr Miliband to select two questions from ITV and Sky (much to the irritation of the US travelling press pack) and dodged a tricky one about the Government’s approach to lifting the UK out of recession, saying it would be impolite to make any comment on “foreign soil”.
To use such a honorific shows the lack of understanding of British politics. To talk about impoliteness when his hosts are still digesting his rudeness is plain stupid. Fortunately his body-language matched his words, according to The Telegraph:
With photographs of Ed Miliband’s family as a backdrop, Governor Romney stood next to the Labour leader in his Westminster office, hands clamped to his side, fingers pointing to the floor, looking about as relaxed as David Gauke at a meeting of tax accountants.
The thought, and weary smile, of many Brits (and probably many Europeans) about this Manchurian Candidate is: 'Is this possible ? Is he going to be President ? Who would want to choose this guy ?' And the old fears of American Stupidity resurface (especially after hearing about their much vaulted 'American Exceptionalism', being the Greatest Nation on Gods Earth). It reminds us that indeed the USA is capable of anything!

mr. Miliband is not a partner in the Government, he's the Labour-leader currently in opposition. My fault, was a bit hasty.
