  •  Mittens actually lacks the comedic sensibility (1+ / 0-)

to perform satire and his aura of cluelessness is truely only a cover for his inability to disguise greed as his prime motivating factor when ever he actually does try to explain anything.

The best comedic comparison of Mittens (and actually the president by contrast ) comes from Blazing Saddles:

The Prez is cast as Sheriff Bart (Clevon Little's character): a character given an impossible job, pulls it off with style.  He's  all about saving the people and the jobs in Rock Ridge.

Contrast that with Mittens who fills the role of Taggert (Slim Pickens character) who  says or does anything for the grerater good of the Railroad's shitload of dimes.

    •  Wow! Great imagery there! I hadn't (0+ / 0-)

thought about Blazing Saddles in years.

For me, Mitt reminds me of Jeff Bridges in Starman. He's like an alien that hasn't read the entire manual. You know, he's going, "Nice to be in a place where the trees are the right size. -- Robin Williams on Letterman 26 Apr 2012
