  •  I don't think it's bad that we got Trax (4+ / 0-)

or the infrastructure work on our trans. corridors. I am appalled at the hypocrisy of the people who are using it, tho. Nothing like heading into the Spaghetti Bowl behind a truck with a Ron Paul sticker on it.

The other part tho', Holding's trade and the wining and dining of Samaranch and crew, yuck. Add to that the back door deals that were made, some of which we probably will never know all of and Mitt!! the Savior of it all. No thanks.

Forgot to piss and bitch about the unrestrained growth that followed the highways. Who cares if your commute is 45 miles one way, ya got a nice shiny new road to travel on and who cares about open space anyway?

Yeah, I'm crabby today. Sorry. There were good things, too.

Yeah, the Olympics led to places like Eagle Mountain and Alpine.

But there are also condos next to Trax next to the library and even at the stop in Murray.   Trax is even headed into Alpine Lite, errrr, I mean Draper.

Even if it means subsidizing the most Republican place in the world and some extremely right wing Republicans; my kids and I are still going to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point as soon as Front Runner South opens.

Didn't the Holding Scam go down before Mitt showed up?  I can't remember.

Here in a place where Brigham Young made the street wide enough to turn around an ox-wagon, there are now walkable neighborhoods; sort of.

      •  IIRC, Holding did go down mostly before Mittens (0+ / 0-)

My real complaint was with the whole Olympic hoohaa, Mitt was just brought in to put a smiley face to it all. I think about the athletes and the fans and smile, I think about the uber-rich who travel from Olympics to Olympics and rub shoulders and get pissed.
