    First, a construct like "Mr. Leader" or "Mr. Prime Minister" is just not used in the UK. David Cameron would be addressed in the second person as either "Prime Minister" or "Mr. Cameron".

    Secondly, Ed Miliband title is "Leader of the Opposition", not just "Leader".

    Thirdly, "Leader of the Opposition" is only ever used in the third person, not in the second.

    It looks about as weird as addressing Harry Reid in the second person as "Mr. Senate Majority Leader" or "Mr. Leader".

    Republicans believe you need an ID to vote but you can donate millions to any candidate completely anonymously. (h/t jbou)
