  •  No, that doesn't explain why ONE state (4+ / 0-)

The campaigns don't care that people dislike political ads.  The same people who dislike them are persuaded by them.  The ads work.

Pulling ads from one state means either money is short, or that one state is no longer competitive.  Obama has plenty of money, so it means Pennsylvania is becoming secure.

This is a huge gain for our side.

It's looking increasingly like the GOP won't be able to expand the map into any Kerry states except tiny New Hampshire.  As I said in another comment, I think they'll try come September with TV ads in some additional states, but I expect that will be too little, too late.

    •  I don't even think . . . (3+ / 0-)

. . . New Hampshire is up for grabs. The polling has shown Obama in the lead for quite some time now, and it makes sense-- Granite Staters have gotten an up-close view of Romney, and you know how that goes: the more they know him, the less they like him!

29, chick, Jewish, solid progressive, NY-14 currently, FL-22 native, went to school in IL-01. Mitt Romney: the Kama Sutra candidate. There's no position he hasn't tried!

but will be fought to the end partly because it is tiny.  GOP spent huge there last week - #1 overall by far proportionally.
