Mitt Romney has more money than you do because his cultural upbringing is better than yours. People with richer cultures earn more money says Romney, so if you are not one of the rich, there is obviously something wrong with your culture. Latino culture is inferior to American culture, which is why Mexico is poorer than the U.S.

When will Republican voters wake up and realize that they are being used by rich would-be aristocrats who laugh at their country bumpkin wyas in the privacy of their mansions. The garbage bag comment at NASCAR was not a gaffe. It is what Romney thinks.

Chile and Ecuador, with Chile being the prosperous culture and Ecuador the poor one, so it's not purely a latino thing.

Of course if you start to unpack that contrast, you come up with all kinds of nasty racial comparisons between Chile and Ecuador.  (On my first visit to Chile, a lawyer acquaintance of mine waved his hand at the pedestrians on the street and said "there are no Indians here, as opposed to Bolivia."  He was wrong -- most Chileans have at least some native American ancestry, and thousands culturally identify themselves as indigenous -- but the anecdote indicates the self-perception of the Chilean elite.  Ecuador has large native American and Afro-Ecuadorean populations.) Romney's people are probably too stupid or unschooled to realize that...
