I know here are more radicalized than ever.  A few - very few - may have voted for Obama last time around, but lack of progress in the economy (in their eyes) means that they see the error of their ways and are even more rabidly R today.

I don't know any moderate R's who think the tea party is worse than Democrats.

Republicans are pretty stupid, but I'm thinking plenty of them (especially at the top of the party) have had enough of the tea party.

Of course, if Dewhurst wins, the tea partiers may stay home on Election Day, which would be good, but I'm also afraid that Democrats will just give up if that happens and not fight for Sadler.

to win. But I honestly don't think the statewide Dem organization has it together enough to do much for him.  And that means whoever wins the R primary is the next senator from TX.

I'd take Dewhurst over Cruz, who would invigorate the awful ugliness of tea partiers.  Even though I think Dewhurst is a filthy rich snake in his own right. There's something about the look in his eye that just looks like raw greed for power.  And then, he was in the CIA (he claims).

Scary - the both of them.

to pony up for Sadler, because if he loses, big-time TeaBagger Cruz goes to the US Senate.

Cruz is projected to have won the TX primary for US Senate (R).
