    Still, when I get an email from a student from an official university email account, why can't I tell them what grade they just go on a test? Why does it have to be in person?

    Ok, maybe someone is sending me a fake email pretending to be that student.

    But it still seems kinda strange; I feel like I am James Bond when I tell them: "No, I am forbidden from telling you what grade you got on today's test in this pathetically primative form of communication that is calle emails. Meet me tomorrow at the Starbucks on campus, in the north-western corner, and then I will whisper to ou your grade in your ear."
