    These concepts are not new: Given the possibility for catastrophe associated with climate change, it's hard to understand why it hasn't been more of a focus.
    He's basing his diary on a "possible catastrophe" that isn't.  It's called sensationalizing minor anomalies for your own political agenda.

    And I really don't care what you don't want to hear about.  Stay off political blogs if you are too sensitive.

      The "possible catastrophe" is actually pretty damned probable at this point. The diarist's poor choice of words -- which i myself took the time to correct -- do not negate the overall point of the diary. Are you disputing that we are headed for disaster?

      As for the meta, my beef is with the kind of blowhard axe-grinders that pollute sites like this.

        I won't argue with you about what is "probable", since neither you nor the diarist are dealing in anything but speculation and fiction.
