How about in EVERY year, ugh!!

Just saying, it would be nice to stop this bipartisan at some point - yeah, I know that's completely not a "reality based" idea.

But still, it would be nice to even have the option of voting for somebody against it (other than Ron Paul or Mike Gravel, let's say).

down the useless deadender National Labs, but they overtly came out and promised funding those communities for the votes.

An article I read this week points out the challenges of getting rid of them, but inspired to see some putting their health and welfare on the line for a better day, just like the seniors in the current diary did.

How did Supreme Court decision ACA help the 23 million still uncovered? Ask the 18,000 Doctors of PNHP -- they're not waiting, FORWARD now to pass H.R. 676, the “Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act .

but's it is probably wise to not paint the national labs with too broad of a brush, some really top notch, worthwhile research is being done there as well (for example, I have one acquantance who is doing cancer research at one and another who is developing advanced materials for increased efficiency solar panels at another . . .. ).

        •  Interesting..... (0+ / 0-)

... but I have to wonder what the percentage of overall funding going  to those worthwhile projects?  Miniscule would be my guess......
