You might enjoy The Dreamland Chronicles by Scott Christian Sava. It's an all ages fantasy tale. Sava has put together a world and characters done in 3D CGI which he then turns into web pages. The comic runs M-F, and he originally started it 10 years ago.

The first page of the story is here:

Let me see if I can give a quick set up.

Once upon a time there were twin brothers, Alexander and Daniel Carter. Every night Alexander would dream fantastic adventures in a world of elves, fairies, and other marvelous creatures - but his brother never dreamed at all. So every morning Alex would share his adventures and his brother would write them down. Then the night of Alexander's 12th birthday, something happened - and he stopped dreaming.

The story begins with Alex recalling his old dreams to try to get into a sleep research study for extra credit now that he and his brother are away at college. That, combined with something in a care package from home sets Alex on course to return to Dreamland, discover the truth about it and the destiny that has fallen on him and his brother.

It's a wonderful tale, beautifully illustrated - and over a thousand pages available on line!

"No special skill, no standard attitude, no technology, and no organization - no matter how valuable - can safely replace thought itself."
