We recently returned from Wisconsin.  Yeesh!...those Chamber ads are awful!

Question:  What is the story/deal with the race between Pocan and Roys?  For my life, I could not make heads or tales...which tells me "the good guy" (whomever that is) isn't getting the message out.

    TIA.

    •  I like them both, but was very disappointed (6+ / 0-)

that Roys went all negative on Pocan, accusing him of being a shill for Kochs. That isn't fair, and is a bit of "win at any cost" strategy of hard politics I associate with current Republican campaigns. Hard to take between two progressives.

      •  I see. Thank you for the fill-in. (2+ / 0-)

Roys sure does make Pocan sound like some sort of turn-coat/blue-dog Walker lackey.  Watching her ads, I'm sitting there thinking..."?!?!, I don't remember any Dem. going along with Walker...wtf???"

Pocan's ads are definitely more positive, but hers could be effective on the low information voters (see me as example of low info. for that particular race...)

Well, as long as they're both truly progressives...I guess enduring them clawing at each other is something that just has to be for now, as long as one of them wins the big contest.

        Thanks again.

Walker, but Roys is cool too. For some reason, Pocan had more support/endorsments early on than Roys, then Roys  picked up a bit. They are both running for Tammy Baldwin's  seat in the House. I think there are 2 other Democrats running also. Both Roys and Pocan have stood up to Walker in some way or another. Pocan went to an ALEC meeting and infiltrated. Roys has been standing up for women.
