    rhetoric to support any sort of rationalizations we want.  i'm sure that we are both adept at those sorts of word games.

    the bottom line, for me at least, is that i can see that things could be a lot better and they have been going in the wrong direction for quite some time.  we have slipped pretty far from getting even the half-loaves that we used to get from the dems, imo, and the trend does not appear to be reversing on its own.  as far as i'm concerned, this calls for a recalculation, a reconsideration of the strategies that have been employed and reaching out to others to who feel as i do to make common ground and move forward in a better direction.

      Since I hate iPhone blogging, is that the inhabitants of the industrial Midwest are finally getting back to the half loaf, after Bill Clinton and his venture capitalist friends sold us out.

      Note to self, stop before I emulate the habits described in this diary.
