a brain, and he knows how to use it, but Romney's critiera for V.P. I don't think Ryan is ready to be President on day one. Once again Romney caved in to the right, he has backed himself into a corner for sure now.

    •  Ryan would be Willard's Dick...Cheney in the WH (11+ / 0-)

Basically, my take is theseGOPers want a caretaker President who sign the bills they tell him to. It means, that despite his alleged business acumen, Willard Romney, has ceded the economy to a 50 cent haircut, thyroid deficient bug eyed, smug, idiotic Randian that hadn't bother to learn his hero was a godless atheist.

      Snip.

but also for insults that manage to one-up Shakespeare.  This one is simply brilliant:

a 50 cent haircut, thyroid deficient bug eyed, smug, idiotic Randian that hadn't bother to learn his hero was a godless atheist

      •  Norquist said so at CPAC this year (0+ / 0-)
“We are not auditioning for fearless leader,” Grover Norquist told conservatives at the CPAC convention in February. “We don’t need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget. … We just need a president to sign this stuff. We don’t need someone to think it up or design it. The leadership now for the modern conservative movement for the next 20 years will be coming out of the House and the Senate.”

Norquist went on: “Pick a Republican with enough working digits to handle a pen to become president of the United States. This is a change for Republicans: the House and Senate doing the work with the president signing bills. His job is to be captain of the team, to sign the legislation that has already been prepared.”

        That's what it's all about - Ryan's budget and Willard's pen.

        •  From all I am reading about Ryan, he is a very (0+ / 0-)

impatient S.O.B. and I doubt he will wait much longer to be in control, especially if he gets that close to power. Romney had better watch is back from this guy.

Truth be told, that is all Romney did at Bain, was lend his name to the endeavor, and sign the checks. The man is such an empty vessal, and the worst part is that he doesn't even know it.

Just what we need leading this country at this time, two sons of priviledge, with absolutly know firshand knowledge about what it measn to be middle class in America. Maybe that is exactly what the Koch brothers want, someone just like them, but as for the rest of us, not so much.

On the positive side, neither one of them has a dimes worth of experience in foreign policy, and we see how well that always works out.

          •  They view it as a corporate takeover, I would say, (0+ / 0-)

with foreign policy outsourced to General Jerry Boykin.
This is smash-and-grab, run away with the profits.
