If you're just out for a cruise with your honey, no particular place to go, try "Cheyenne" from the album Sunstorm.  If yer bombin' down the blacktop, racin' to beat the devil, plug in "Drive Again" from the same disc.  (Neither available on YouTube, dammit.)  Stewart had road songs galore, for trucks, cars and even horses, but those two are probably my faves for serious drivin'.

Not the Sundance version (that one's a tad slower and more singery-songwritery) but still tasty.  When I set up my account here I almost chose the lyric "Never had a job/Where the boss didn't steal/The bass drum from his own brass band" as my sig line.  Thanks for diggin' that up--hafta try and find that album.

(PS: Does your username refer to the Russian novel or the juggling troupe?  Saw the jugglers at a local theatre a few years back and got their autographs on my copy of "Lord Valentine's Castle"--they gave Robert Silverberg technical advice.)
