    Ryan et al are using the Christian moral teachings in exactly the way they were intended.

    That is, the morality part of Christianity is fraudulent, was never a sincere collection of moral precepts, but always intended, even engineered, as religious/moral justification for colonialism and expansion.  No one ever has to follow these moral teachings, merely hike them up the flagpole to proclaim why 'we' are better than 'you' and that's our justification for conquering 'you'.

    Islam has taken this a step further, and in so doing created the only successful resistance to Christian colonialism.  I'm discounting Asia because Christian invaders never made a serious attempt, and in any case followers of Asian traditions could recognize the Christian 'morality' for the sham it is.
