    Perhaps men must learn to do what women have done all along: constantly gauge the audience, to see how their message is being received. Instead of assuming unquestioningly that their input is the most important thing in an environment, they should be hyper-aware of others.

      or very good at it, male or female. People can be aware and still misinterpret or misunderstand what they perceive. But, making the attempt is at least a step in the right direction.

      I mean--you can't know what people are thinking--people constantly put on masks.  You need to read your audience--but you also need to be aware that it's ok to take risks.  If the risk is unwelcome--you'll be informed of that.  The only head you inhabit is your own.
