    With Pres Obama favored in Winsconsin, Thompson would need to find Obama/Thompson voters and to do that he'd need to run against the top of the GOP ticket on some issues - which he could have did against a Romney/Whomever ticket, but I can't see him running against Ryan in Wisconsin now because it would become a bigger issue of Tommy Thompson bucking fellow Wisconsinite in Wisconsin.

      Directly run against him but he'll take a few issues that he'll differ from them on. Plus, Thompson is still considered a very good Governor by most and that alone will get him some moderate voters who will vote for Obama at the top of the ticket.

      I predicted that Baldwin will do around 1-4 points worse than Obama on election day. And Thompson accounts for the high end of that prediction as I think he could do a good bit better than Romney/Ryan. But the other two, unless Wisconsin is a nail biter on election day, Obama's will help Baldwin across the finish line.
