Ironically the alleged “Obama cuts” represent savings from eliminating what can be categorized as waste, fraud and abuse that sprang from Medicare Advantage providers overcharging Medicare for services rendered.  (Doesn’t getting a handle on something like this sound just like something a self-styled deficit hawk Republican like Paul Ryan would have fallen in love with?)  The savings this would create would then be applied to fund other non-Medicare programs included within the Affordable Care Act and cause no reduction in benefits to subscribers since amounts equal to the overcharges would no longer have to be spent within the Medicare budget. This is how twisted Repub logic would explain it: If you found a better deal on a package of car and home insurance saving you money in your monthly budget and then applied the money saved to your entertainment line item within that budget, you would be stealing.  Really?
