into this circus act. Sure, we all know HERE that Mitt and Ryan are lying, distorting and manipulating. But they've done a good job going on the offensive, IMO. The Obama team for whatever reason has been flatfooted and slow to respond to the lies. Would've been nice (but expensive I guess) for the Obama Camp to have an anti-Ryan attack up on TV right after the VP announcement.

    •  seems the other way around to me. (0+ / 0-)

mitt & ryan are the ones who've been on defense, backing away from positions on ryan's budget, claiming they support medicare (with caveats, of course, but hopefully nobody's paying that much attention), ryan distancing himself from ayn rand, mitt distancing himself from ryan.

nice try at spin, tho.  got the blowtorch aimed at your ass, huh.

above comment.  posted without the luxury of proofreading.  also a case of jumpingtoconclusionitis.  my troll-dar is on high alert these days.  :)

team knows what they're doing. I happen to live in an area that is rabidly anti-Obama, and it makes me timid.

          •  understand. i've lived in the deep south most of (0+ / 0-)

my life -- talk about rabid anti-obama!

i've always wanted an fdr/jfk-type response to the stupidity on the other side, but you don't always get what you want, right?  that's why i love joe biden so much -- he's as close as we get.

i think it's telling how the rw is calling for hillary to replace biden as vp -- if he wasn't as effective as he (obviously) is, they'd want obama to keep him.  they're so desperate.
