    I don't feel we did wrong in taking this great country away from them. There were great numbers of people who needed new land, and the Indians were selfishly trying to keep it for themselves. -John Wayne (-9.00,-8.86)

      I guess I went to the wrong site. I looked it up based on my knowledge of Spanish. It just didn't sound right.

        gender for nouns, pronouns and other stuff. The Latin-ate "valise" lost it's gender in French (I think) but kept it's gender identification in Italian. And "suitcase" in both Italian and Spanish are feminine, even though suitcase is a much newer word. I learned this from a libretto of some opera, somewhere, where my seatmate explained to me that, "of course, in Italian suitcases are feminine! Suitcases are something you put stuff int and take out of!"

        I wonder what the Italians and Spanish translated ATMs to...
