throwing a hissy fit because the AARP didn't do exactly what they wanted them to do on the ACA says nothing whatsoever to dispute AARP's non partisan status.

And if Republicans want to continue down the path of denouncing the AARP, good luck with that.

out for relevant articles on their web site, log in, and help combat the lies and distortions being posted there for senior to read.

I decided a few weeks ago that I needed to spend some time taking the progressive message beyond the progressive blogosphere. Much as I enjooy singing with the choir here, it won't get President Obama one more vote than he already has in his pocket.

When Romney announced his VP pick, AARP published a fluff piece on Ryan, his favorite music, that kind of thing. It was only in the comments that followed the article that some people moved the conversation to the danger Ryan poses for Medicare. I was stunned to see the number of people who support Romney/Ryan no matter what. In short, these people posted the standard FOX/Limbaugh line. I'm not sure that any of these people can be swayed to vote for BO, but I would HATE allowing them to move any undecided seniors to their side.

Please become familiar with aarp.org and help. We have a monumentally important election coming up.
