or campaign manager, you have no better insight than I do, and even then I wouldn't believe you because it strains logic.

It seems self evident that there is a political motivation to her absence, and to say otherwise seems extremely far fetched and misguided.

But yes...that is my opinion.  What I don't get is why you seem to be so sure that a politician is taking an action not motivated by politics and want to call your opinion a fact and attempt to cut off discussion of the topic.  One has to really have some inside info that isn't being shared to make that logical leap.

And I doubt anyone is still reading this thread, so this isn't an attempt troll or convince anyone.   I actually like McCaskill, as she seems like a one of the blue dogs trying to win an election as opposed to an absolute centrist.  My main issue is bad campaign strategy, that not only hurts her but the party.  And I don't just blame her, I suspect party leadership is enabling these types of decisions.  I have made similar arguments against the WH's strategy in 2009 and 2010, so I am certainly not going to shy away from discussing McCaskill's missteps.  What would I do you ask?  I would ask for a spot in the convention to speak about women's rights and speak to more constituents in a single moment than she could with paid advertising.

But that is just me.  Now, if there are politics behind the move, I suspect this isn't an option.  Which is my point...

    We will agree to disagree.
