  •  Okay, let me get my head around the GOP position.. (8+ / 0-)

    1) No abortion for anyone, including rape, incest or health of mother.

    2) No contraception for anyone, since life begins at conception, birth control would be like pulling the plug on a patient.

    3) No health education teaching young girls and boys that "yes, if you have sex, you can get pregnant".

Given the 3 above, it can be expected the net result of this will be a marked, significant increase in children born to single, underaged mothers, many of whom will have no family or traditional means of support. In the cases of rape, incest and health of mother, we can expect abandoned children, sick children, mentally and/or physically challenged children.  In the case of Health of Mother, assuming the mother doesn't die, we will have an increased liklihood of a physically impaired woman following childbirth.

The GOP position regarding healthcare, family support services and aid to poor families is that there should be none, zero, ziltch, nada, CUT, CUT, CUT...

Can it not be logically argued therefore, that if we combine the two GOP positions of forced delivery with zero support services, that their position is in fact one that involves the most incredible abuse and torment of children, their mothers and their families imaginable?

Given that the net result will be thousands, possibly millions of children, living lives of abject poverty, neglect, abuse and serious illnesses and that the GOP reaction to these suffering children will be (and currently IS) "let them die" and "Why should I have to pay for your mistakes?" can it not be logically deduced that the GOP really, really HATES children, their mothers and their communities?

    I think it does.

Tax and Spend I can understand. I can even understand Borrow and Spend. But Borrow and give Billionaires tax cuts? That I have a problem with.

    •  You are not understanding (4+ / 0-)

These are people the GOP thinks should be punished. God wants to see women suffer and die. God wants to see kids dying of treatable illnesses to punish their wanton mothers for being poor. God wants to see women disabled by strokes being forced to live on the street and beg to feed their kids. It's God's Will™.

    •  No, that's not it at all: (0+ / 0-)

the real logical conclusion is that they'd like to rebuild the armies of child workers. Think about it - they've tried to reinstitute child labor before. What better "family" imagery can you imagine than a woman taking her children to work with her every day? They will sell that as patriotism and "family values."
