  •  As despicable as this is (0+ / 0-)

At least the pro-life crowd that is against abortion in all cases is consistent with their stance in why abortion should not be allowed.

Of course, it also demonstrates why the pro-life crowd is so wrong to be injecting their wishes onto what should be a very personal decision by the woman.

Nine out of ten will tell you they don't think women who have abortions and doctors who perform them should be put to death.  That's completely inconsistent with they're "these are people" and "death penalty for all." Ask them, they'll tell you they are inconsistent.

      •  I agree about the inconsistency (1+ / 0-)

in the "sanctity of life" crowd that support the death penalty, calls for the execution of abortion doctors, etc.

I don't know what this particular Congressman's stance is on other "sanctity of life" issues but I do agree that most are not consistent when it comes to the death penalty.

Somehow they are able to justify in their little minds by adding "innocent" adjective to life.    They are cafeteria Christians who pick and choose which parts of the Bible they want to ignore and which parts to emphasize.

Actually, most of them are thoughtless sheep who just parrot whatever nonsense their priest or pastor feed them without doing much thinking or questioning.
