    I came across a link to this article that explains how it's possible to retrofit pretty much any vehicle and make it a Hybrid by adding motors to the rear wheels and a suitcase sized box in the trunk of the car.

    The way I'd explain it is that it's a little like that pump that assists Cheney's heart. The motors are embedded in the empty space inside the rear wheels basically. And, no changes are required to the car's engine or drive train.

    I'm no expert on cars, but it sounds to me like it would work to boost mileage for a pretty low investment.

    Honesty pays, but it doesn't seem to pay enough to suit some people. Kin Hubbard
