PG County was Obama's best county in America--better than the Bronx, Manhattan or San Francisco (though not as good as DC).

I assume that all the money Obama put into DC TV aimed at Virginia voters gave him an (unneeded) boost in DC & PG, too.

    •  I would have guessed the Bronx (1+ / 0-)

but it's a close runner up by just 0.3%.  For Kerry it was a full 1% better, so it's CPVI is still the highest overall, but then again the whole point of this diary is to show that PVI by presidential election alone isn't everything.

      •  Technically Obama's best county was Shannon county (3+ / 0-)

South Dakota (where the Pine Ridge reservation is) but the difference between Shannon, and a few other dem strongholds like PG county, the Bronx, Macon County AL, and Jefferson county MS is all pretty marginal.
