in deceiving the public and manufacturing support for a Republican Party which has lost all sense of morality and reality.

Yesterday, while driving to teach an evening class, I listened to "All Things Considered" .  Ari Shapiro who is covering the Romney campaign had a glowing report about the "town hall" meeting in NH with "thousands" of supporters.  The report included a sound bite from the last question.  Shapiro's report excluded the fact that the "supporters" included busloads of people from MA; or the fact that members of the "public" had been turned away.  Shapiro reported the sound bite as though it came from an anonymous attendee rather than a Tea Party activist connected to the Romney campaign.  Nor did he mention that the "Foreign Policy" question came from a Republican state legislator who endorsed Romney early.

Well done, Ari and NPR! This kind of complicity is exactly why I rarely listen to you and why you don't and won't get one nickel out of me in your fundraising drives.
