The 1st Amendment gives you the right to say stupid things, the 1st Amendment doesn't guarantee a paycheck to say stupid things.

You don't necessarily need lady parts to stand up and say, "Rape is rape and a women's right to make her own choices was decided long ago."

You're not being "oppressed" when another group gains rights you've always enjoyed.

you do need a spine. Especially if you're a Republican.

      •  Bottom line: many Republicans BELIEVE women (3+ / 0-)

should be punished for having sex. I can't count the number of times I've heard a Republican (male or female) say, "If she'd kept her legs together...."

Unfortunately, to many of these people, having a child is the punishment.

        They're sick.

        •  But don't forget... (0+ / 0-)

... to put your aspirin between your legs while you're holding them together...

Maybe we oughta make a constitutional amendment that every state has to have one male and one female senator.

Wouldn't it be good to have the Senate (and Congress for that matter) be more representative of the gender makeup of the general population?

At least then any time some man gets all confused about lady parts, he'd get educated real quick...

"Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a certain poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. Because it's only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realize your true potential." - Barack Obama
