okay, good point, though we all hope it is theoretical.... I would guess that whichever hospital there may be in Keene NH is one which does not have a history of previous violence.

But most hospitals these days have round-the-clock video surveillance, a maze of doors, and systems in place, including limiting access through subsdiary entrances/exits after hours.that is certainly true in the "big city."

In June 2010, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals issued a Sentinel Event Alert regarding violence in hospitals. This outlines the steps a prudent hospital administrator ought to take.

I would think that if somebody dressed in SWAT team showed up with the intent to blow away some  doctors, that people would notice.

this joker needs to lose in the primary, obviously. And get evaluated by a psychiatrist.

but with full access to their equipment including explosive breaching charges.  I know of no hospital that has military grade blast doors capable of withstanding a high powered shaped charge designed for blowing holes through reinforced concrete.  People might notice but they would be pretty much powerless to do anything about it.  Now do you see why this nutjob is so dangerous should he end up being sheriff and getting access to those kind of weapons?

There is no saving throw against stupid.
