  •  lol I read it when I was a little kid. (9+ / 0-)

    A little girl at that.

My gpa preferred Flynt's publications, though. I used to find them under the couch.

The gaze of straight male pornography shaped the sexuality of a lot of us women. For some of us, it was a reversal of gender roles because we could easily see ourselves as men in the androgynous 80s. I can be the initiator or the one in control because of the high availability of birth control methods for women's use. The illusion of being able to make him the submissive one seems testosterone driven. Why do we have to fight to be "on top"? It's the attempt to push the overton window waaaaay back in the other direction.

The gender-switching is just a phase in the battle for gender equality. Eventually, we'd like to be women, whatever that means and not have to imitate men.

    Just thoughts. :-)

Makes a LOT of sense to me. I've always solidly believed that whatever consenting adults find mutual pleasure and no harm in, is of no concern to me. Some of it does not interest me at all. Sexually explicit pictures and writing could also interest me enough to try what was arousing, which was usually enjoyable given a good partner and relationship.

It gets back to combining the very intimate pleasure with a committed love, to produce shared satisfaction AND bonding hormones that strengthen the relationship. Which is rarely talked about.
