  •  Single-issue voters exist (0+ / 0-)

I did not invent them. As I tried to explain, the opinion of a professional lobbyist must be considered a single-issue opinion. Regardless of what that issue is.

      who is the professional lobbyist?

      you're losing me.

      •  Robert Brulle (0+ / 0-)

He reaches conclusions which may or may not be true. I do not have time in life to research every person quoted on DKos.  But I expect someone in his position to push forth the case that listening to him will bring good results, and discounting him the opposite. So my salt dosage prevents me from just accepting his conclusions at face value. Many other interpretations are possible.

        •  how do you get that he's a lobbyist? (0+ / 0-)

he's an academic, it says on the article linked above.

          Robert J. Brulle

Brulle is a professor of sociology and environmental science in the Department of Culture and Communications, and an affiliate professor of public health, at Drexel University. Together with Jason Carmichael and J. Craig Jenkins, he published a paper in Climatic Change that analyzed factors influencing public concern about climate change in the United States.

          •  It would be nice if people noticed that difference (0+ / 0-)

Unfortunately, it seems like the opinion of scientists is given the same regard as that of lobbyists these days.  That's one of the reasons why we are in this position.
