    In William Mathias's Songs of William Blake, and there's a notable moment for celesta at the end of Alexander Zemlinsky's Lyric Symphony—the celesta is asked to play fortissimo, but can't manage to do it, even against the most discreet of orchestral accompaniments! (The ending, however, does have to be heard to be believed. It's positively shimmering.)
