    more mass, it takes longer to melt keeping everything colder longer.

    If the power goes off it's an Icebox™ and you are now Camping™.

    But start freezing now...and cash, get that organized now as well...just remember where you hid it ......(story about recycling company finding bundles of twenties on the conveyor belt...:>)

      suffer at all or too much during outage. Milk cartons, left a bit open, can be emptied and filled with water. Juice cartons and frozen juice cans, can be used at room temperature. The one serving juice boxes, the same.

      My personal computer is limited, can't post without tagging on. Community computer better. Pardon tagging to comments, spelling, please.

        It is really, really hot down here right now.  My guess is most folks are going to want water.  Nothing is better to fight dehydration.  Plus you can use the bags for ice in your cooler or just to keep the former freezer (now cooler) cold for a day or two longer.  That might be all you need to save your frozen food.
