  •  President of his fraternity? (3+ / 0-)

If I hear a guy was elected president of his fraternity, that would make me less likely to want to vote for him.  Ugh, fraternities- a way to exclude people.  But that's just me.

    •  I work with this idiot lady and she asked me once (3+ / 0-)

if I belonged to a fraternity - she's AKA and all geeky about it.

I just stared at her with my mouth open and told her that her assessment skills were poor.

What about me says I would EVER be part of something like a 'drat"?

I have little need to 'belong'.

      She's ate up with it.

      And she's a super-christian: she's intolerable.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

system -- dad-in-law was in a fraternity, mom-in-law in a sorority. Up till she got too ill to participate, she was a volunteer with Ronald McDonald House (sorority's top service project). They probably would have never met otherwise -- University of Washington is a pretty big place, after all.

Of course, this was back in the 1950s when things were different. And they were progressive Democrats before I even got here on this planet.

Yes, and Michael Milken was president of his fraternity, Sigma Alpha Mu.  And the point that rMoney is trying to make is... ?

Bernie Madoff is also a SAMmy.  I don't know if he was president of his chapter.
