    I'm also aware of the phrase "career ender."

    If she could no longer do her job without becoming part of the story she couldn't do her job.

    Others have simply gotten old. I prefer to think I've been tempered by time.

      to "blame the victim." Sometimes stuff happens to reporters and it becomes news. It should in no way be cause for dismissal.

      CNN is probably shying away from the story because in today's political/media climate the RW noise machine would claim CNN is being biased and unfair toward the GOP. It's a sad testament that the media has become such hacks that they can't even trust themselves or have the courage to do the story and instead cave in to the whiny made-up complaints of the very subjects they cover.
