  •  'Lies' (9+ / 0-)

Obama needs to release an ad -- approved by him -- that calls Mitt Romney a liar.

It should splice Romney's ads with the many fact-checkers and pundits who have thoroughly debunked them, and throw in the "we don't follow fact-checkers" line and Romney's whining about the tone of the campaign.

Finish it off with Romney's quote about how in the good old days if an ad was proven wrong, a candidate would pull it down.

    •  I have been thinking they are waiting for (8+ / 0-)

the DNC and then the gloves come off?  But we shall have to wait and see.

I did talk with a nurse today.  She has five siblings, and all of them are Republican.  Her father has always been a Democrat.  She never mentioned her mother.

She re-registered Inde and is voting for Obama in November.  One of her sisters re-registered Dem and is voting Obama in November. They are working on the other siblings...

She said her father has been going to his church to talk with all the parishioners every Sunday for a year, the majority are Republican, to tell them to stop listening to the church and think about "what Jesus would do" and why the Republican Party is scamming all believers.

It was a relief to hear her story.  She said for years sitting around the family table their conversations were always heated... now everyone wants to know WTH is going on with the Republican Party.

      The Father Knows Best.  lol!

need to do what he is doing and talk to their fellow church members. My mother was doing that in 2004 with her fellow church members, telling them to stop listening to Fox News and the other lies.  She converted a few of them to vote for Kerry.  Sadly, Mom died in 2005 feelling a bit defeated about the 2004 election but hopeful for 2006.

I cried both in 2006 and 2008 for a lot of reasons but one of them is how happy Mom would have been.

        •  Oh wishingwell, I'm sorry about your mother! (0+ / 0-)

Good for your mom.  I agree, church members need to wake up the people who are not following their own minds and hearts, but FOX news or a church doctrination that should have nothing to do with politics.  It really gripes me.
