    That's using the term loosely, WaPo.  There are plenty of white faces, but the convention hall hasn't been even close to full.

      I watched for a few minutes last night (I really couldn't take anymore), and not only was it pretty pale, I saw plenty of empty seats.

      And this was during Huckabee's speech, which I'd expect to be pretty full.

      If they're not going to see Huck talk, they're not going to see anybody.

      Did the hurricane scare them away? Or can't they afford it anymore?

        Tampa is the stripclub capital of the US, and (alledgedly) no booze is being served at the convention.

        Republicans believe you need an ID to vote but you can donate millions to any candidate completely anonymously. (h/t jbou)

          If he can't drink, nobody drinks.

          Of course, they'll just go find it somewhere else. Presumably somewhere with naked women to go with the booze.
