Her tweets are good. Notice her often promoting her appearances when she is going to go on FOX and do front line duty. Much respect. Definitely a harder hitter than Estrich, Beckel. Williams or Colmes. Think they allow alll of the house liberals to post opinion pieces on the website. Definitely not in fair and balanced proportion to their right wingers. And definitely none of them ever did a high profile fact check like Sally did.

    •  It it wasn't commissioned, she took FX by surprise (0+ / 0-)

and her tweet followers took it to the next level. Is that how it coud'a happened? (I am just learning to tweet tweet tweet).

They do have written pieces by the house Democrats like Juan Williams, Susan Estrich and Joe Trippi.  I don't think any of them have written anything that got as much as attention as Sally Kohn's piece did.   So they do have their liberals producing pieces that might look strange with the FOX News banner across the type. But they are opinion pieces. Doesn't mean FOX is fair and balanced by any means.  But they do have wriiten pieces by the house liberals on the website.

        •  Thanx going there, thinking about it..... (0+ / 0-)

thanx for going back to that place.

I am in no way thinking Fox has changed its snakey skin. Rather trying to follow the bread crumbs to how the Three Words went from fox to the 'viral'.

But on why it was there in first place, we seems we think in same way.
I magine her contract calls for opinion pieces, and she provided one. Maybe even have been edited, as it was after all 1/3 positive so fair and balanced. Fox never thought that it would take on a life of its own.

As diarist says she posted middle of the night, she must know, as she knows how these things work.   a timeline of the tweets related to it, the originals and retweets may explain the takeoff.

            Fox oks it.
puts in the opinion dead end street.
            social media takes it up
fox attempt to data control it fail because trending have their own algorithmic logic.
            fox is outfoxed.
kossians with foxian friends provided with fox approved arguments against ryan.
and bigger picture, over at Murdoch investigators.

on the same day that a major UK News Corp [NI, part of the bigger corp]  executive was arrested on evidence provided by News Corp.

a good day for us, maybe a really bad one for Rupert.
