and OH, PA, FL, IN, MI will be terrifyingly close.

If we stay out of another war, unemployment stays where it is or drops a bit, and 18-29 deomgraphic turns out this time, we may have a chance. A deluge of negative advertizing will have some impact. How much impact is unknown at this point. But this is a close deal, which is what Moore is saying...

I hope all of the dlc dinosaurs will have creaked off the national stage by 2016 to make room for something new and, one hopes, better !

    •  Don't misunderestimate (4+ / 0-)

a demoralized GOP base staying home from the polls as Romney/Ryan self destruct over the next couple of months. There's already an enthusiasm gap in the Religious Reich sector over the lack of a proper red-meat evangelical on the ticket -- they might just stay home in November figuring the chances are good that Obama will do something that'll usher in the Rapture and they'll be outta here anyway.

I believe Obama will still be furrin, anti-second amendment, pro-abortion, and, well, black.

That fiddle may be missing a couple of strings, but it will still play.

But PA is out of play for Mitt now and OH is trending that way. He only has so many electoral scenarios left, and after spending hundreds of millions, his position in battleground states hasn't improved much over the past three months.
