  •  Chris wasn't too keen on (7+ / 0-)

    the warmongering either

    •  Yes, see my comment above for "Matthews (7+ / 0-)

is mad as hell and not going to take any more bullshit" alert.

I think Chris is offended at the dishonesty and bald face lies of Romney, Ryan, and the entire GOP establish and has decided he can not be quite and polite and go into retirement, leaving his last opportunity to stand up for a higher standard of journalism behind.

It would probably get him suspended, or even fired, but he will go down in history as a noble hero, for it, IMO, if I'm correct.

It's the "false-equivalence" reporters, and talk-show hosts that should be suspended but, we will see another limitation, of the fact that our media is owned by mega-corporations dedicated to profit more than truth.

comment above, because I said almost exactly the same thing before I found your comment. Guess that means we're both right!  (Except you said it more eloquently than I did.)

what the other comments are, but I'm not worried about it at all.

Our purpose is to make sure Romney and the dastardly Republicans don't get elected.  If it were helpful in that context, I'm happy to learn we are on the same wavelength.

And, if we were to concentrate on it, its quite likely that any ideas I have on the topic were inspired by something I read of yours, or someone else yesterday.

In order to be politically effective we are all moving at a much faster rates than we fall back on our usual slow pace of academic standards of having an audit trail on on ideas and expressions.

Here we are on the same team.

Let's see if we can figure out how to get these ideas beyond the confines of our cozy enclave here, and out into the minds of he general public.

In that regard Daily Kos is like a gigantic churning fermentation chamber, with all of us trying different variations of ideas and phrases to see what works best to launch out to the public.

I wish I could think of a better metaphor, but it sort of reminds me of the scary situation of the pig farms in the highly densely populated areas of South East Asia, which biologists tell us are the perfect breeding grounds for new forms of potentially highly contagious and lethal forms of flu and other viruses.  The accelerated transfer and recombination of RNA, and DNA fragments from completely different strains of virus goes beyond the simpler evolutionary theories we were taught decades ago.

Sort of a weird way to say "Go Team," I'll admit,  but I mean well.
