  • maybe it's not a great idea for (4+ / 0-)

Romney to go around acting presidential and visiting people in need after all.  He's better off sticking with the Eastwood/chair skit.

Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right. I'm riding for MS in September. Please donate here if you can.

WHY didn't someone write a 15 second, generic "sympathetic response" for the man to memorize?

"Oh, ma'am, how awful, this is all so awful, but you look like such a STRONG person, and there are so many people (turn toward Governor Jindal or member of entourage, smile) who are rooting for you all over the country and right here in Louisiana, so many people who want to help, who are WAITING to help, that I just KNOW things will get better for you."

No evidence that he wasn't listening, no reference to government Mitticisms.

Hey, it's not rocket science. He's going into a disaster area. The guy is going to be confronted by sob stories. Shouldn't his campaign know by now that they should give the doof something specific to say before he goes out and blows his feet away? Again?

      Campaign FAIL.
