Frankly, it's the American people, and I'm assuming you are, who walk away Quickly from Accountability!!

I walked away from those that stood beside me from the beginning in opposition as they quickly picked up the buckets filled with tea and continue doing just what the guilty want, forget what happened in Abandoning the Main Missions of why we sent troops into that region with the first drum beat pointed at Iraq and almost totally destroying a Country and it's People for their own personal reasons built on lies and stroked fears!!!!

    •  Useless to write about that here. (0+ / 0-)

That was my point.  As long as it's a republican, then democrats are all for war crime prosecrutions.  I don't play the partisan game when it comes to war and war crimes.

      •  Saddam, not sanctions, killed those children (5+ / 0-)

I have seen this canard trotted out so many time even though its an easily refuted argument. As you probably know there were specific exclusions in the sanctions for expenditures and supplies like those needed for public health. Saddam exploited the existence of sanctions to deflect blame for practically anything he was doing to his own people.

Just ask the Iranians or Cubans how "devastating" sanctions are. The real problem with false equivalencies like yours on Clinton is that it debases the very real case against Bush and Blair for actual war crimes. Following your logic the leaders of US Congress and the European Union should be held accountable for food subsidies that cripple African agriculture and lead to famine. The connections are there and real, but no reasonable person would conclude that the intent of their legislation was to cause famine.

In overextending the culpability argument you end up with no action at all, but maybe that's what you intended.

substance and highly insulting to me personally.

I agree with Tutu, Bush, Cheney and their advisers who are now Romney's advisers should be tried for war crimes

And if you think what they did is cool, then good for you ... enjoy your hate.

        •  Oh I absolutely agree Bush, Blair, Cheney, (1+ / 0-)

Rice, and the whole cadre should be brought up on war crime charges.
I prefer to be consistent and label all those who are war criminals as such.
