  •  Fecal transplants are unusual and most likely (10+ / 0-)

    considered experimental. Most people get over C. diff with a round of antibiotics and taking probiotics is easier and less invasive than a fecal transplant, which could have unforeseen consequences.

    The founding fathers knew of the mutually corrupting influences of Church and state, wisely sending them to opposite corners.

      My nephew had to be on antibiotics for a different infection, and then got C. diff as a result.  The antibiotics and probiotics did work, but he said if it didn't he'd get a turkey baster and a sample from his 3 year old son.
