    Along my way through life as an RN, I've met many who were abused and never turned it on others. My mother turned out to be the first, I just didn't know about the sexual abuse until much later. She has suffered the effect on her self esteem for 87 years and is still a loving and caring person. Why can some keep from passing it on and not others? Probably also part of their childhood.

    We still have too many people that think the way to raise children is with hate and fear instead of love and acceptance.
