  •  well, I've long been aware (0+ / 0-)

    of the connection between macro-level policy decisions and my own life, so it isn't so hard for me to "quantify" as you say some of those things.

    And I do tend to hold a President accountable for both his policy decisions and the outcomes derived from those policies, so the amount of financial hardship that I have suffered in my life due to policy decisions endorsed, made, encouraged and acted upon by Reagan, Bush I, Clinton and Bush II did, in fact, create a great deal of economic hardship in my life. And I have "blamed" those Presidents for that (along with the other cadres, and institutions and other people who helped them advocate and implement those policies).

    So why shouldn't I also give credit to the President who instituted policies that made my life better?
