  •  thank you for the advise (9+ / 0-)

I appreciate it.   I hope and pray that you don't join this club, but if the biology says otherwise know that this MNCC online community is one of the very berry best for support, advise, and wisdom.  You are not alone, and together we will reach the other end of the journey we are forced to take, together, all of us.

Your additional advise is greatly appreciated,  there was no way when I started this diary that I could hope to cover it all.  I am just glad that it is provoking discussion and additional insights.

    •  I'm glad you're working (10+ / 0-)

because not working sucks. I was sliced up in January (years ago) and couldn't walk around (too icy) so I would go into the barn and wrestle with the horses for some exercise. I had to get a note from the surgeon so I could go back to work, and he was not happy with me.
Chemo did not cause me any problems, once I knew what I had to feel each day. Monday was chemo day, and by Thursday I felt pretty crummy. The first Thursday was a surprise, but I was already at school so I stayed. After that first week it was a breeze. I didn't miss any school.
One bad thing happened while I was home after surgery. My wife and youngest daughter were listening to country music most of the time. I learned to hate it. When I escaped to the barn I put on the classic rock station.

but not now.  I  do however keep in contact and give insights with our customers to my bosses and to my employee's on a weekly basis.  they made the mistake of issuing to me an Android phone with Email (their mistake oh well).    I have found that all the exercising I have been doing lately has really helped keep the mind occupied. I get to listen to my music (just as you prefer too!) lately it's been Dave Matthews Band but also Mumford and Sons (go figure eh?) Toss in a lil Eagles and Carlos Santana with some Bob Seger and life is good.
